Made this soup with some of the poblanos this week. Really good--reminiscent of Chicken Tortilla Soup. I sort of did a half recipe--but used 3 poblanos + a green chile & jalapeño. Also added onion which I sautéed with the red pepper in the butter before adding the flour. I am actually gonna can a couple jars of poblanos with a Chile and jalapeño today to be able to whip this up quickly in the winter!
